The 28th annual Expo Canaco opens today in the lot beside
Sam’s Club with the presence of visiting officials and businessmen from
States forming the Economic Corridor of the North including Durango,
Coahuila, Zacatecas, Chihuhua, Nuevo León, Tamaulipas and Sinaloa.
Access to the expo grounds will be through the purchase of bracelets at a cost of 50 pesos (does not include the price of rides) or 30 pesos general admission.
The traditional fair offers 108 stands, dancing horses, car pavilions, food stands, rides and this year, the Baile del Año (Dance of the Year) featuring performances by José Ángel Ledezma “El Coyote” and Chuy Lizárraga.
